Connection can mean different things to different people. How do you connect with others, and how is connection currently relevant to your personal, professional or political life? What impact does your connection to others, and connections between others, make to your community? How do you think we can cultivate positive connections, especially across our differences?
Join old and new friends on Sunday, February 26th at 6 p.m. to share a family-style potluck dinner followed by a table discussion on the theme "CONNECT". Come prepared to share stories and ideas about how we might channel the anxious energies of this time to communicate, act, and coexist together on behalf of our communities, culture, and planet. The suppers are facilitated by Ellie Taylor; nurse, nutritional expert, and author.
Seating limited, RSVP to [email protected] or 864.380.1267
by February 24.
This will be the eighth in a series of monthly potluck suppers to be held the last Sunday of the month on the theme of healing, both personal and community. Healing Conversations is a monthly gathering to listen, learn, ponder a theme, and share ideas and supper. Readings are welcomed; as are suggestions and exploration of the Rensing Center’s library. We explore patterns as we see and experience them, with an eye toward healing and in a spirit of creativity and spirituality. We hope to gather a diverse group of participants and listen to each other’s ideas with respect. Future themes may include BALANCE, PROTECT, INTEGRATE, RECOVER, APPRECIATE, LAUGH, SHARE, CONSERVE, FOCUS, and CONNECT. Suggest others!
